Anyone buy any gear for Black Friday?

Glad you brought up the midi packs though. I've been meaning to add some to the library.
Hopefully I can be a little quicker on the draw.

I went with some early Black Friday sales.

I grabbed Toontrack’s Rock Warehouse SDX for $49. They rotate the older SDXs at that price every Black Friday.

I bought Steven Slate Drums 5 at $49. Cheap enough for me to try. I already have Trigger, but wanted the full drum VST experience.

I also bought an EHX Nano Op Amp Big Muff that I’ve been eyeing for a while. It’s 15% off at $81 so not a big deal.

That’s probably it for me.

I just tried to buy some midi packs on toontack's website

It popped up a window offering a metal midi pack for $9 if I purchased in 2 minutes...

While I was waiting for the paypal window a prompt came up telling me the time had expired and it cancelled my order.

Not sure if I want to buy anything now...
Update

Randomly checked my email and had a PayPal receipt from toontrack..

Logged into the product manager and all the midi packs (including the limited time one) were there

black friday being a thing in the UK, what a time to be alive.

I grabbed:

- Zynaptiq Myriad (boring but needed it and sales aren’t common
- Cabinetron (boring but STL libra isn’t silicon native)
- Neyrinck SPX90 Symphonic (on sale at a more palatable price for what is essentially a single preset). sounds great
- Relab Rev6000
- 2x Samsung T7 Shields

Seems like there's very little actual gear for sale on Black Friday the past few years. Tons of plugins, IR packs, etc. But not much actual real gear. Or is it just me?

Finally have 2 new (and working) iLoud Precision 6's, yayy! Sending the other 2 back to Amazon.

Right out of the box I was fairly blown off my stool, they sound fantastic - and that's without my PreSonus 8" sub connected.

Did the calibration - seems like it did pretty good, for what I know about such things! :grin Of course it could be lying to me lol.

Guess I have a minor problem at 400 Hz ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not any guitar gear, but just bought the Rhodes Anthology plugin for $50, I'm not really a keyboard player, but I just love fooling around with it still!

My Apple Magic Keyboard had a couple failing switches, apparently it doesn't handle red wine all that well, so this time I went all mechanical, should last me a lifetime, including gallons of wine spills :D

I’ve got my finger hovering over the Buy button for a pair of Genelec 8050s at 15% off. I like my 8030s, but I want something that can thump a little. Someone tell me there wont be a big difference and it’s not worth the money. Please.

3 more inches and about 3x the power, that will thump a whole lot more!
