Thinking of selling most of my guitar gear

IMO you shouldn't live life trying to hang on to something in the past.
I think a big part of this is being able to change your mindset and reinvent yourself as a musician from time to time as needed. I started out a metal and rock player who transitioned into country when that was hot. Afterwards I did the P&W thing for a while before moving to bass. Since Covid, I never put myself back out there and am now working on solo jazz and finger style stuff I can play on my own. I’ll still play some of the old stuff from time to time (mostly so as not to complete lose those chops), but am much more satisfied with what I’m learning now, even if it does feel like starting over in some aspects. I guess that’s what keeps it interesting.

I should do that.... or at least try. It was months ago, but I recall it sounding
great and being a lot of fun.

Now where did I put my Cape??
