Adventures in pedalboard building

I found this thing buried in a drawer. It’s a passive volume knob I bought once to control my monitor feed level from a modeler.

I might leave it on here. Kind of handy to use as an additional volume control that is more granular than the amp volume control for times I’ll need to really bring volume down low

My A# is apparently sharp

Saw this and thought of you, Met. Kind of shocking they can incorporate a
mechanical spring in something that small.

That is pretty cool! Definitely not the drippy tank sort of spring, but it’s a cool sound. I like it

^Dumb as nails names and cheap turd on your board shaming aside; the Dano food series of pedals (other than the dirt boxes) had some KILLER sounds in the lineup. I would absolutely trust really any of their pedals to do a job stellarly in most cases.

Lucky for me I’m all for having cheap turds that bring shame on my board

I had the Tuna Melt Trem on my Smiths/Moz board for a couple years, until about a month after I cracked the plastic case and could no longer activate the effect. That thing NAILED the swampy trem on How Soon as Now! :love
Any idea what that was based on? I wish you could have done a tap tempo with it :guiness

That's the problem with the Dano effects - the enclosures aren't built to last, they're oddly shaped, and the jacks are positioned poorly. But they sound great for the money!
