Thoughts on my new pedalboard?

Hi,

I'm thinking about how to arrange a new board setup (physically and signal wise) and I'm very open for suggestions. I have the pedals shown in the mockup (except the Phase 90), but I'm thinking of getting a new board (Pedaltrain Classic Jr?) and new power supply (Strymon Zuma?).

I'll use the board in different situations (practising with headphones connected to the Tonex One, with an active CLR wedge (original), with a pair of Neumann KH120 near field monitors, or with my Bogner Shiva 20th + Bogner OS 2x12).

So far I’ve been thinking like this:
Turbo Tuner - Skreddy Lunar Module - Durham Sex Drive - Paul C Timmy - Wampler Germanium Tumnus Deluxe - MXR Phase 90 script - Empress Compressor - Strymon El Capistan - Dr. Scientist Reverberator - Tonex One.

Yes, I like dirt pedals. I might even drop the phase 90 and include my Fulltone OCD instead.

Any thoughts or advice?

You can cram the Turbo Tuner to the very edge of the pedal board for better spacing, and I'd use a battery to power it because it lasts a long time as long as you remember to unplug the input.

Otherwise I'd arrange it based on what is convenient for the signal chain and how you want to stomp on it.

Love the Lunar Module. That board is sweet.

Thanks! I bought the Lunar Module directly from Marc back in 2009 and I still love it!

Nice board! I might experiment with compressor placement if it were me.

Yeah, I might very well experiment a bit with the placement of the compressor. I started with turning it around and inserting the signal cables correctly - so much for having a few beers while putting together the new board! :facepalm

All powered up with the DC-7 now.

So far I really like this new iteration of my board! A lot of possibilities and nice to be able to use it for both silent practicing with headphones directly from the Tonex One while the kids are asleep, going directly from the Tonex One to my active CLR wedge, to FOH or my recording setup, or bypassing the Tonex and going to my Shiva 20th.

Great board!

Are you going to be traveling with your board, or is it strictly for home use?

If you're going to be traveling with it, you may want to scoot the top row down a bit, so the cabling can be set up in a way that no cables hang over the edge of the board.

That way, when you put it in a case to get to a gig, go to a jam session, or whatever, the cables won't get stressed out and possibly damaged in transit.

I see you went with the DC7, over the Zuma. Both are great power supplies.

I have DC7s, Zumas and a PP3 Plus on other boards, but the DC7 is the most flexible of the bunch, and takes up very little space, with super easy mounting, using the GRIP bracket.

Nice, solid mounting, but with no drilling required.

Very nice board. Tons of tones available!

Thanks! Yeah, I like the versatility.

Thanks! No touring - only light traveling. I may look into it while I tidy up the power cabling.

And yes, I mounted the DC-7 with the Grip bracket - seems to work great!

I'm currently considering replacing the Dr. Scientist Reverberator (which I like) with a Strymon Flint (v2?) - which will double as both trem and verb pedal. Any thoughts on this?
