1991 Orville by Gibson.
This is the guitar I bought in Japan for £380 back in 2008. I've been playing it almost exclusively since then. It has been my main guitar. Feels great, and sounds amazing. I've had a whole load of different pickups in there over the years; Bareknuckle Nailbombs, Rebel Yell's, and Seymour Duncan Distortions - which is what I have in there right now.
And I just got this:
1989 Orville by Gibson. Made in the same factory (Terada) and currently sporting an Oil City Blackbird "Drew Custom" - it is basically an overwound Blackbird Ulfbehrt. The guitar had a pair of Gibson "The Original" pickups in it. I've just replaced the bridge for now, but this was the original pickup:
So I now have three Les Paul's - these two and the Tokai I got in Japan last summer.
