Thatās most things marketed as AI right now.Absolute this video. Nothing AI about it at all.

You know what's crazy? Most people dont realize you can add an EQ curve to any IR in any DAW and save it as a new IR. It's as easy as EQing and saving a guitar track.Yep .... in short ... its normal static IR's with [supposedly] " A.I. " generated EQ Curves applied to them ... as best as I can tell.
You don't need machine learning to do convolution
Sig line materialdoesnt hurt to try the free ones
Basically it seems like combining what he prefers for EQ, what is used as recording tricks and what Chat GPT recommended.Didn't watch the whole video but my impression was that he just asked Chat GPT or whatever to suggest EQ settings, then baked those into the IR's.

So it's straight up bullshit to call these AI because there's no machine learning component in the actual processing to create these IRs.
Now, you could probably feed a dataset of tons of IRs to a ML framework and get something that is capable of making "AI IRs" but it also seems like a pretty pointless thing to do when it won't offer you anything you can't achieve with convolution methods.
My son introduced me to that guy's channel over the summer oddly enough. We sat and watched a bunch of his vids and watching him drove me ABSOLUTELY NUTSHW sounds exactly like that guy who āauditsā public servants. You know that dude that records video in the post office to uphold the constitution. Anyway. Yeah Iād rather listen to AI voice narrate his videos
