Winter NAMM 2026 predictions

If Fractal does announce some type of FRFR I'm sure it will be amazing and depending on the price it might make me part ways with my Powercabs
maybe...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shit.....I need to remember next year to buy all the cool shit I want AFTER NAMM in case something cool comes out. I think I'll be safe with my bigger purchases, but with pedals you never know what'll pop up.
My birthday is some time after NAMM so I'm basically planning late birthday presents for myself (considering new products won't be available right away).

Sweet, I was hoping Lisa Loeb made a comeback.

Ugh, that Ibanez Alpha hurts to look at. Something about the angles just bothers me in a way that other brands of a similar shape don’t. Guess I’m too old for it :idk

I think they made up for it with the ASM300:

I think that looks beautiful. And the baritone hollowbody is super cool.

If Fractal made their version of Tonex One

That'd have a chance to become an instant buy for me - if priced right. Which I kinda doubt would happen. I mean, even if it could only run a single amp model per patch and nothing else (which is how many people are using their TXOs for), this would possibly still be what most people seem to want the most out of the FAS universe. Sure, people also love FAS effects, the horsepower of the bigger units and what not, but their core USP very defenitely is their amp modeling - so, with such a unit they might in fact be cannibalizing sales of their other units.

Sure, but even at $399 I think they'd sell an absolute shitload of them? UA is selling lots of their single pedals for $349. They're selling FM3's at $999 and I think it would outsell them more than 3-1 easily, probably 10-1. I think the biggest market out there is still guys who have pedalboards, like the pedals they already own, and just want a simple solution to slap down for going direct sometimes without having to ditch a bunch of stuff. This is why Tonex one is also so popular, besides just the price. I peel a drive pedal from my board and slap it in place when I need too, 10 second job. I dont like it that much though, but its still the best option available imho

Are we thinking Tonemaster pricing here?
Nahhhh I don’t think so.. who knows it may just be a cosmetic update kind of like the silver line was to Blackstar with the ID 260 member that was pretty much just cosmetic. Everything seemed to stay the same even the chips inside and stuff.
So I don’t know maybe they did revamp the whole tones and stuff. I don’t know.

Too bad this one wasn’t ever released. They had some prototypes but they didn’t go forward with it. I think 20 2627 would be a good time to go forward with this black diamond.

It was the money it was about $3000
I also remember an employee posting that the higher ups were very concerned about Valvetronix out selling the hand wired tube stuff so they quietly stopped funding and building the high end models using it
