In his almost 10 years on this planet Timbre has run along my Mt bike on many miles of dirt trails which are easy to follow and obvious route finding. Rock slabs and boulder drops marked with cairns in the Sierra high country is not as easy to follow marked 'trails'. I had no idea he would take off and lead me down this new line for both of us. Super fun!
BTW I am 6 miles in the forest from the closest highway. If I had crashed resulting in a bad injury it would be certain death as the lows were in the 20's last night as Calif has winter temps currently.
