IYKYK.If you're trying to count down to NAMM, you're off by a few days.
Played through it loud last night for a good bit of time. I really need to get through Monday nights jam with the metal band to see how it works in a band setting. Especially in how it performs with vocals and guitars.

I think it would be fun if the new Fractal product was a Cliff designed analog tube amp.
I feel like if anyone could fill Randal Smiths shoes and design modern forward-thinking amps it might be Cliff. Put all that knowledge gained from years of analyzing amp circuits to use building one
I think an SLO IR/X would definitely be cool although I suspect it would basically be a Synergy Slo2 module w a boost in a floor unitI love how this NAMM predictions thread is slowly morphing into a FAS prediction thread.
It should represent your Gaga tones wellPlayed through it loud last night for a good bit of time. I really need to get through Monday nights jam with the metal band to see how it works in a band setting. Especially in how it performs with vocals and guitars.
I will never like the wedge form factor to schlep around. Maybe a second handle would change that? For guitar up loud; it kicks ass. At least for the "heavier" stuff![]()
I dialed them in on it as a matter of factIt should represent your Gaga tones well![]()

That's what the IR-X was, no? The BE-DLX module (minus a few things) with a digital Poweramp and a MXR Dist+(?) style boost.I suspect it would basically be a Synergy Slo2 module w a boost in a floor unit
I was at a punk show last night and was pretty blown away by how good the guy's Katana head sounded even on the 50 watt mode. Wish I would have had something like that when I was starting out.Since I finally broke down and got a discounted Katana Artist Gen3 combo to go with my MkII, I now expect BOSS to introduce a "V4" or something. And if they offer it with that same green Waza speaker, I'd probably buy that one, too.
A Soldano one with the same layout as the TK Imperial would sell like crazy. I think this is more likely than a Friedman variant. They also already kinda have some of the work done with the X88RPossibly a hinted at Soldano SLO or Astro IR/X thing
