I wasn't expecting to see them last night. Nice surprise. They can be so mysterious and fleeting,
in my experience. Pretty epic when they go on a several hour run like that. They reached out
in towers and waves directly overhead. Love living this far North.

Caught a brief---albeit---very cool glimpse of the Aurora last night. More Red and Magenta

- isolate a single grain of sand.
- estimate the size ratio between that grain and the clump in your hand.
- now the grain vs 15 cubic feet of dirt (15' wide x 15' long x 15' deep)

How many grains in that cube? Billions? Trillions?

The Sahara Desert averages about a depth of 15 feet of sand over its entirety.

The earth is a single grain of sand and the Sahara is the universe is as close as I could get.
