@HomespunEffects all that matters is what YOU like. It’s easy to get hung up on the minutia of things like this. For me, if it plays good and feels good in the hands, it is good.

It is a marked improvement over the very worn original frets and is in tune everywhere.

Oh, I specifically requested more room instead of a rolled fret edge. I wrote “I prefer more room over a rolled edge. As long as it doesn’t feel like railroad tracks.”

Edit - the finish on the sides the fingerboard was already chipped. He wanted to touch it up but I wouldn’t let him. Feels like he sanded it a bit though.

That would be my only criticism. That said, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about cutting your hands due to fret sprout. I’ve seen waaayyy worse.

Ok,
The file marks in the wood the corse fingerboard level , lack of symmetry in the crown and not polished. It’s cosmetic work but it matters to me,

I think it should look stock or better. Work should look like it was always like that. But if it plays properly then that is a good start.
