I’ve done the clean-dirt-lead snapshot method with the Litigator and Voltage Queen to great effect. I’m not going for metal tones though fwiw.
What would you say is the most diverse amp in Helix?

Matchless CH2. Great gain range all on its own. OD pedals produce any flavor you’d like. I use it for most of my Helix playing.

That said, I'm a Model T aficionado.

I really need to. I did a quick patch with it and the Pillars pedal to put up on Customtone and havent touched it since.

I'm very happy with my base tone, I just love to experiment and find other textures that are appealing. I generally use only 2 amps for an entire gig. Something clean and something dirty.

I like the Shiva for a clean/dirty then hit with pedals, compressor and eq's to get a bit closer to an Ecstasy on the dirty side.
Matchelss Ch2 is pretty good as well, it depends on what I'm going for. If I want a bit heavier I'll go with the Archon and some dirt up front, Pillars, Horizon or Minotaur depending on the tone.

It's more like a modded Fender Twin with an extra gain stage.
It's one of my favorite models and I've considered buying the real amp several times over the years. One of the best cleans you can get too, and a fantastic pedal platform.

I reckon the Grammatico GSG immediately became be a strong contender.

I've not put too much time into the Grammatico models, my initial impressions swayed me away from them for whatever reason, but I may give them another chance with some deeper dives. Cali Texas is another I've sort of ignored? Will have to experiment further.

Yes, and I will add the Bogner Blue
I still think the gsg does some of the best fender-y tones in helix

I was shocked by how good the Bogner Blue is at low-drive crunches. I was expecting nothing but high-gain tones out of these amps.

I had such high hopes for the GSG to be an all in one, but I keep fussing over the crunch tones. It’s keeps pushing into this sort of low end fuzz. I love the clean and dirt.
Sadly, I haven’t had a chance to update to 3.8, but I’ve got similar high hopes for the Bogner to be an all in one.

The "structure" parameter is nice on the Bogner!
Btw, I love the GSG, but that's true, it does develop a fuzzy low-end smear at certain settings.

For tonal diversity, the Ventoux can go everywhere.
