I came across this pic this morning. It’s from sometime in the mid ‘70s but I don’t know the exact year. Taken at the Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland.

Is that a production model or a DIY?

A former bandmate had a bass version like that and it sounded pretty cool. A lot of damn switches though!

Looks like a modified 335 with a Trapezoid bridge from the 60s.
Probably had a hole and was covered with black plastic.
Song list above neck pickup, god knows what behind the bridge under the strings.

Supposedly, how it looked form factory.

Could be also a Gibson Trini Lopez ES-335, but you can't see the F-hole so hard to say.

The stuff with the controls looks like someone went to town modding it though.

Also, at first look the guy reminded me of young Michael Cera.
