75% of the SG ugly AF problem is that gross ass redwood deck finish. Get a black or white instead and it's a 1000% visual upgrade.

Oops, I like my brown one.... hardly any finish at all.....that's the way I like them. Not too fancy. To me, an SG is a working mans axe, simple tool for straight work...just wish the scale length was longer.

The other 25% is divided between the weak neck joint, terrible neck dive, and difficult upper fret access.
For color I'll take Walnut please.
