Lower volume is all relative… I want enough volume for about a hundred people.
Fractal scratches an itch and I’ve been using their products since the Ultra. I absolutely love them. There’s a richness in sound that I hear when I play through a nice tube amp that I haven’t been able to replicate with digital. I’m not saying it isn’t possible, but I just haven’t been able to produce it personally. It’s not that anyone in the audience will hear it (especially since they usually do their bathroom breaks during my solos), but it’s enough to inspire me.
