That Pedal Show ran out of ideas for new content a while ago now – but their income depends on making content.
There is a reason news and pop culture sites dominate the flamewar space – new material to slag or praise and slag the slaggers while they slag the praisers every day.

It’s one reason I never bothered with it.
There’s only so much tech content that could really help . Sometimes I can see stuff that is difficult to describe in a way that you can easily understand third party. How to judge if a truss rod feels right when you adjust it. There are so many different ones and they all need you to judge them based off experience of hundreds.

Nielson, Thorn and maybe Tubbs are guys I will occasionally tune into. They all come closest to playing my style and go for tones I’d use.besides our own @2112 dont really watch many
I like Michael Neilson content as as well and a few others that offer great info
My absolute favorite though has to be Rhett Shill
Couple of guys whose tones I generally don’t like but are good players and informative but I mostly stick to prison story channels! Lol.

Yeah man, I still love the forums. I’m not on as much as I used to be but life and all…
Two full time jobs so I can pay my house off in two years and be truly financially free is the goal.
I think that’s one thing that was always at odds with me. I love making vids. I’d love for my channel to be bigger. I just don’t have time to commit to making content I don’t care about.
I feel like I’ve been around long enough for people to know I’m no shill, and all that. I’d rather maintain a reputation of being someone who isn’t trying to sell people shit than go the other way.
Plus, who doesn’t wanna be one of the hens clucking around the water cooler?? lol!

I don’t know. Maybe he’s just working the algo? Isn’t that what they all do, most of them… a bunch of telecaster marked videos to get him into peoples flows he might have lost due to making videos about stuff they’re not interested in.

I love his playing. It's amazing. I often have his videos play in the background, while doing other things, just to hear the leads and such. Quite relaxing.
But in terms of the actual subjects of the videos, I tend not to pay attention that much anymore (in the past, I have found some of his talks interesting for sure). My impression is a good chunk of his content is now more or less a consumerist meltdown of some kind.
But then again, this may be largely for the views and strategic. I don't know. I just love his playing and think it's quite unique.

I like him but I got tired of his tone, which sounds the same no matter which modeler or amp model he plays. His playing is very good but I wish he’d do something different. It all sounds the same, very soft and smooth, it makes me sleepy.
With one exception, there was a video he did a year or two ago plugged straight into a tweed amp (clone?) with no effects. Sounded pretty sweet without his signature delay and reverb modeler tone. Like a real guitar plugged into a real amp. I think modelers can sound great too, if he only used some restraint with the delay and reverb.

My favorite clips of him are the few times when he posts gig vids where he's ripping over a Journey tune or whatever and not doing the elevator shred thing.

Cordy is a shill and knows nothing about gear.
Take that in to consideration and his videos are great.
Cordy reads like a heavily watered down and diluted John Mayer descendant..... when John is already kind of
tepid, bland, and watered down.
Anyone play with passion and fire anymore.
