Awesome, great top. Just right. This "LP" was built by Steve Carr (tech & luthier for KISS) while I did some apprentice work at his Apopka, FL workshop back in 1992 - 1993.
It's a chambered Mahogany body that is 0.75" thinner than a traditional LP, with a Maple top that is 0.125" thicker.
It has a '60s slim neck carve and a 14 degree headstock angle, loaded with Seymour Duncan '59 neck and JB bridge pickups with traditional '50s wiring.
My oldest and most cherished guitar was a college graduation gift from my mother.

Thank you. Steve had acquired 3 figured maple boards that were each approximately 18 feet long. He gave me free reign to pick the top from any section of any board.Awesome, great top. Just right.
I'm not familiar with Suntech, but those look great.Bottom one.

I guess they fall into a similar category with the MIJ Edwards LPs.

I use these in the 8-40 flavor and I haven't broken a string in probably at least two years. At about 150 gigs a year, I gotta say, it ain't the string! I've used the 7's for a bit but I'll wait for more arthritis before I switch.Me and these strings just don’t get along
I don’t understand how Billy Gibbons manages to use them without breaking the things ? If in fact he actually does use them???
Luckily I bought a few packets much cheaper than they sell for now.
I gave a set to a friend a while back and he broke 2 just tuning up
