Oh yeah. I saw some stellar shows last year; Steve Vai, Babymetal, Hanabie. Guitar Wolf (incidentally mostly Japanese), and Otoboke Beaver surprised me the most that they became my favorite (and says a lot from being a Vai fanboy). I'd definitely see them again.
 
No idea how often I already listened to this masterpiece. Still making me shiver. One of *the* best solos of all the times from Shaun Martin (keys), regardless of the instrument. Just amazing. Also such incredible engineering work, as you can actually hear each and every instrument.
 
The little reductionist bits, then into the complex....but the grooves of the simple....oooohhhhh dawg!!!
