I dig that new Mick Mars tune. Those rhythm guitars sound super tight and focused --- unlike the
solo. I wonder how much he played on it, in all honesty. With his panache it could be a bit like an
Ozzy recording experience. Not hating. Just saying.

Even as a non-fan, I was semi aware of that (I had seen a few of them on Beavis and Butthead), but I had never known he worked on ANOES 4, ANOES5, Return of the Living Dead, one of the Alien films (probably Aliens), Jurassic Park, T2, etc.

Yeah, he also has a major hand in all their live video stuff. I knew about it back in the day, but I have some friends who are MAJOR fucking Tool nerds. Like the stereotypical ones who think they’re magicians and shit.

I'm not even sure what the word enigmatic means, but Adam Jones is probably the most enigmatic musician I know. Everything about the guy intrigues the crap out of me and I'm not sure why. And it's been that way ever since I first saw the Sober video on TV 30 years ago.
