What are you GAS'ing for at the moment ?

Missing P90s in my life and this ltd editon Tokai is really cool.

2nd choice would be a LP special

Killer! Always wanted a Reverend! There's a baritone all black one that keeps showing up in my feed :satan
Yeah they’re great. Enjoyed every one I’ve ever played.
That's the spirit! Getting some life back up in here while boosting the world economy and generally spreading endearing joyous feelings of sickening love to everyone. :banana :pickle
Yeah that’s me. My knickname in college was “Mr. Stimulus”.

I'd like a different amp, but not sure what to get if anything. The Orange Rocker 15 + 1x12 doesn't really do what I want at all outside of being able to dial the volume down. So not sure if something like a Vox AC15 would be a cool pick or something more modern with a different cab, or what.

If you ever come across a Mesa Trans-Atlantic give it a whirl. Killer Vox tones, Tweed, Blackface, Marshall,
and Mesa in one box. One of Mesas most versatile amps. Of course, discontinued.... because it didn't
chug enough or something. :idk

Sheesh, this thread needs some life. Can't believe I'm one of the few that love guitars so much that they get random GAS.

In my case, I've been st00p1d and read too much about the EBMM Kaizen, and it's either a guitar that damn near everyone that tries, LOVES, or some really slick underground marketing campaign.

Of course it comes in 6 and 7's these days, and a bunch of colors - which adds another stage of complicated decision making.

Generally thinking I don't want a chrome trem and pickup covers, matte black is more my thang.

But, something about this "Gallium" finish is grabbing me. Even with the chrome trem/pickups, I think the overall "random" finish, and some general wipe downs, will keep smudges in check. They use actual silver in the finish, allowing it to oxidize before they clear coat it! Each one is unique, and there aren't many left (special GAS inducing run). It's from a store about 2 hours away that I've bought a couple from.

Here's some others of interest.

Good old matte white that supposedly goes a bit gray in darker lighting.

Another limited run in "Spectraflare". It is semi-chameleon, and will supposedly capture any offending lighting, focusing to a killer "laser" back to the offender. It's a used one.

And lastly, an "Ember Burst". Note the weight! :satan That alone should make it interesting, no?

You're kind of nuts, Dave.... you know that, right? :knit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok.... not kind of......

I really wish I'd tried the TA30. I had a ta15 but the lack of reverb or fx loop was a bit of a deal breaker when it was really cooking. The core tones were great though and it was bloody loud.

Oh man, I didn't know that. :idk

I love mine. I have the 30, and up until I "retired" it was my most gigged amp.

Still use it almost daily as a pedal platform in wet/dry config with a Bogner.
Kind of blows my mind how great it sounds and feels.

I bought mine in california and brought it home on the plane. The guitar center near my in laws house had priced it up as a cab at $250. I couldn't get my wallet out quick enough.

I've been unfortunately hamstrung at 12 . But then, when circumstances were forced upon me, realized that "in the box" thinking could get me to, say, 15?

But, no more than 15! :pitchforks

More like, "in the case and in the closet" for a few of them, until I decide which shall be banished from the Warmartdom. The decisions are hard!

All right Ill give it a go

Just for Curiosity's sake in the Upcoming weeks I will Order a Fender FR12 from Amazon (which has a full 30 day refund)
And i will compare it to my Powercab/s Looper Riffs, Leads and swing from Left (Powercab) to Right (fender FR12)
And will decide if worth the Jump or not, mind you I'm Skeptical but I guess we will find out
I also plan to do the same with the ToneX cab once its available

Curiosity is good! Keeps you young.

Sounds like a fun experiment.

I'm surely not a huge Fender or IKMM fan, but they both make some great stuff. My iLoud studio monitors blew me away, I get a big grin everytime they get turned on, just a ginormous improvement!
