Severance is solid, too.I'll have to swap out one of our current subs with Apple TV at some point.

Worlds better than Rogen. Thankfully. Ford can lean a little too hard into the Harrison Ford caricature but I can see where that works for him in some roles.

Rogen peaked on Freaks and Geeks and had a steeeeeeeep fall off after.Worlds better than Rogen. Thankfully. Ford can lean a little too hard into the Harrison Ford caricature but I can see where that works for him in some roles.
Watched an episode or two of this and liked it but also felt like it could end up being one of those shows where they had an initial premise but not the full scope of how the premise came to be in the form of a good backstory?Severance is solid, too.
This is good to know. We watched Ted Lasso and loved it and watched a season or two of the Reese Witherspoon thing which was OK generally speaking? Tried Slow Horses and it was definitely a match for it's title. He is really good in Shrinking as a very non-Ford character.

She's ok in it. Reese is good as well. It's quite a bit lighter fare than I normally gravitate to but it was good. I am surprisingly easily Steve Carrell-fatigued more than anything else?Morning Show? The mere thought of watching something with Jennifer Aniston triggers my gag reflex so I have not seen any of that one yet.
Still too early to tell where Severence is going, but I hear you...ever since Lost I am on guard for that BS.
I loved the first Season, but as it came to a close I got the sense that they were running out of runway, and about to start making things up as they went along. Sure enough, Season 2 was batshit crazy arbitrary and made me feel like I was wasting my time.Severance is solid, too.
His dumb laugh was fine the first few things he was in. Then it immediately wasn'tSeth Rogen is one of those celebrities that you know is only famous because his friends are famous
And then I hit this post. Yes, you called it. I could live with the absence of a backstory (near future technology + economic demand = profit) but there's also no apparent end game for this show.Watched an episode or two of this and liked it but also felt like it could end up being one of those shows where they had an initial premise but not the full scope of how the premise came to be in the form of a good backstory?
As Chocl8 said; SERIOUS Lost PTSD.And then I hit this post. Yes, you called it. I could live with the absence of a backstory (near future technology + economic demand = profit) but there's also no apparent end game for this show.
When the second season dropped I tried to watch the 1st episode and was like "uh, I really need to go rewatch first season to make heads or tails of what's going on?" but eventually decided maybe it wasn't so much forgetting what happened in season 1 as it was "they really didn't think there was going to be a season 2 did they?"And then I hit this post. I hate dumping on Severance because IMO it's legit profound/ "important" for the first handful of episodes. I'd encourage folks to watch the first season... and then consider just walking away if you can.![]()

I love Severence and I like seth rogen![]()
His character kinda hits me in the gut, because my dad has Parkinson's.He is really good in Shrinking as a very non-Ford character.
Hope he is doing as good as can be expected. Not the kind of life imitating art things we hope to have happenHis character kinda hits me in the gut, because my dad has Parkinson's.
Yeah, really good so far, luckily.Hope he is doing as good as can be expected. Not the kind of life imitating art things we hope to have happen![]()
