Putting Train Dreams on the list. Joel Edgerton is always good in whatever he's in.
Watching the last season of Stranger Things. I'm enjoying it...but boy I wish they got this done way faster. It's weird how grown all the kids are!
Really dug this one. Throwback is a great word for it!Almost forgot: I snuck in a little crime flick called Caught Stealing over the weekend. Kind of a throwback in a lot of ways. A bit obvious/ predictable at points, but good trashy fun overall. Strong performances and production values.
I must admit, I miss the ‘90s. :)Really dug this one. Throwback is a great word for it!
Yeah they are stretching the limits of being high schoolers.![]()
For sure. It started a bit mediocre but really ramped up. Excited to see the rest. That said, it gained enough momentum in the last couple episodes to give me hope that they are going to be able to give it a decent enough ending, that the series really deserves.![]()
Eddington has been on and off my list for awhile. Pedro Pascal overload and reliving the whole covid thing have put me off. Is it worth a watch?Watching the new Diddy doc
Watched Edington the other day. Pretty wild film, didn't know what to expect but I'm a big Ari Aster fan and was curious to see what his departure from horror would be like. I enjoyed it, kind of had Cohen brother vibes

I like Aster and I don't mind political takes, provided they're interesting, on top of the fact that there was certainly some angles to mine in that era. As weird as this sound; I also feel like Juoaquin (sp JFC) needs a turn to take him out of Joker crazy land. He did that then kind of went bonkers it seemed like. Or he just comes off as a super sensitive soul when you watch interviews with him. Him playing a sane character is a good change of pace. Unless it turns out he's totally nuts in this![]()

We don’t watch much Hollywood fare these days, but me and the Mrs. enjoyed this with friends last night. Evocative blend of history and fiction with some NYC nostalgia for me, plus a bit of jazz and familiar faces.

Strong uncanny valley vibes looking at whatever that is.
