Wampler Pedalhead

I'm struggling with the concept here. If the Pedalhead is implementing a speaker impedance curve, and my modeler is also implementing a speaker impedance curve, am I doubling up on speaker impedance curves here?

Would I have to turn off power amp modeling on my modeler? I know I can do that on the Fractal units, but I don't think Stadium allows for that currently.

Why wouldn't I use my modeler's power amp modeling? Am I supposed to offload all power amp and cab modeling to the pedal? Seems like that would be an issue since I normally route that kind of thing internal on the modeler to different outputs.

Agree. Cool pedal for use with preamps though!

Yes either you offload all the modeling, which is way better on the pedalhead than any modeler could ever be having access to the real current flowing in the speaker, or there is a modeler mode you can choose on the pedalhead where the response is going to be closer to an hi fi tube amp.

I'm Leo from Synergy, part of the DSP team, was invited here by a moderator to help answering some questions!!

Yes it's equivalent to a 50W/60W tube poweramp also at 16ohm
This makes this the absolute winner without question for me, as I use 16 ohm cabs.

But as he said we could have wrote a whole page explaining this, or just equivalent to tube watt as that's what consumers are used to! And I'm sorry we had to do it but it's in a good spirit
I am new to this landscape, and primarily have been the tube amp/cab/mic guy. I just picked up a Tonex One and an AM4 to decide on a backup rig. So my question is about the power rating to use with cabs. I know it has been discussed but the "equivalent to a 50w/60/w tube power amp" seems a little catch phrase-ish, if you will. I do not have as much knowledge as others will on watts and when I do a basic search I am seeing A 200W solid-state power amp is generally equivalent in perceived loudness and headroom to a 50w-100w tube amp.

I am TLDR asking is this thing LOUD?

Also, what is the estimated release date if you can share and if I missed it?

Yes it's very loud! Anywhere between a classic tube amp rated from 40W to 60W.

The class D design is a 216W one, per channel. It can push up to 80W/90W equivalent tube but on the pedalhead it's limited to 60W and 40W(stereo)

Its more than a Twin Sister in mono and same or slightly less in stereo (per channel, so you can go twice as loud)

Twin Sister is very close to a JTM45.

For those asking about release, Brian Wampler has said a few times on the Chasing Tone podcast that it's not coming until much later in the year - like Q4 timeframe. They just went through a substantial redesign so it's changed from even what was shown a few weeks ago at NAMM.

This is really the only thing I have a hard time with BAD, they are quick to announce and slow AF to release.
