I know Cordy is usually reaaaaaaching for his subject material, but I think there's a pretty solid point being made in this particular one that Line 6 themselves are making too: They've got capable products in pretty much every conceivable price point and use case now.

So while the flagship Stadium is indeed a great value for all it replaces (just like the Axe-FX III is too for all it can replace), they offer even more value in their mid-tier (the existing Helix line) and even more so in the derivatives below it in price.

And Cordy does a decent job of outlining the value you get in all of those tiers.

  • He's a decent guitarist
  • Has all the audio gear needed
  • Is an all-round good guy

Somehow the eqn isn't coming together. Why am I still hearing the guitar strings more than the modeler?

While yes, kudos to him for even being bothered to make a video. He just has his phone/camera set up recording the room. I imagine the monitors aren't very loud or the camera is just at a spot where it's picking up a lot of the strings.

Not to pile on unnecessarily, but it really reminds me of me sitting on the couch with my electric guitar unplugged and noodling around…

Couldn’t really tell anything about the tones, etc.

Guess we all have nothing better to do.

Release the beast. Or manual. Or something.

Manual would be awesome.

From a purely personal perspective the longer it takes to ship the better chance there is that 1.2 will be within the 30 day window, so I can justify following through with it to try Spotlight.
