TwoNotes GENOME!!!

Just running Genome [Standard] on my M4.

I might be missing something really obvious but I cant seem to find a basic gain or volume "block" or "effect" to place at the end of a chain to get a simple [say] +4 db Boost for [say] solo's (?)

I thought I could use a Midi CC to set up the Output Level to jump or drop by +4 db but this seems to be a "global only" setting - and cant be saved at different settings for different presets (?)
Thanks for getting in touch - great question. You could insert Saber at the end of your chain to action this for sure!

Hey everyone,

You may have seen this on our socials but I thought it would be worthwhile adding this here for parity; definitely something you want to do before our next GENOME update but please note this is not needed before every update moving forward — just something to safeguard your GENOME experience ahead of the v1.14 drop!

To support the next chapter of GENOME’s evolution — with expanded tonal tools, workflow refinements, and continuous updates — we’re releasing the GENOME Uninstall Utility ahead of the upcoming v1.14 update.

Run it once before you update to v1.14 to ensure a clean foundation and the smoothest install experience possible. After that, only use it again if you encounter issues like crashes or missing components.

OMG!!!! i cant wait for the new update!!!!

I cant seem to find a side-by-side comparison of what's in / out / included / not included with "Genome Suite Upgrade" -vs- "Genome Suite" (?)

The difference is the price of the upgrade for existing owners of the basic 'genome', but results in the same thing.

I am still wondering if this whole overhaul of Genome could be adding functionality for a Hardware version

Attractive discounts on Suite right before NAM and the announcement of „big updates in next 4-6 months“ sound like 2026 will be heavy on upcoming Fairtone Models (Amp/FX) and less on Premium models…

Looking forward to any updates coming, as the sounds, GUI and workflow of Genome are very well already.

Err - the same things. One is a new purchase, the other is, well, an upgrade to an existing license.

The difference is the price of the upgrade for existing owners of the basic 'genome', but results in the same thing.

So they are identical except that the [on sale] $99 verion does not inlcude "all future Componenets" that the $150 version does (?)

-or-

Is it if you already own "basic" Genome, the $99 Genome Suite Upgrade also gives you "all future Componenets" (?)

The wording is quite unclear / ambiguous (?)

It's a cheaper price for existing license owners of Genome, so, if you don't already have a license, the price is more.
The difference is in price only, not features.

Just found thihs on their website

" Exclusions apply; GENOME Suite’s current and future Premium Component inclusions exclude DynIR Cabinets / DynIR Collections and any Artist-Series- or FairTone-branded components; for further details on FairTone please head here. "

Sounds totally reasonable and fair to me - no brainer upgrade.

I'll wait for 1.14 to drop and see whats new and then [almost certainly] buy the $99 upgrade.

Yep - it's definitely the way to go if you already have Genome.

They run sales fairly regularly too, so it shouldn't be too long until you see the same price again (if this sale ends before you can upgrade).
