TwoNotes GENOME!!!

I've been using Genome a lot along with Slammin Mofo's and Amalgam Audio NAM captures, but to be honest even the stock Genome captures sound great to me. Loads of Marshall and Rectifier sounds.

I'm curious to see if they added more DAW automation options along with MIDI and the standalone app.

Man, if TN ever drops a Genome hardware box, they could absolutely clean up. It could be a contender right out of the gate if they were to do it right.

Yup, I'd be right in there for the NAM player, let alone the cabs, component models & other stuff!

Do you have to sync the new content after downloading the update then downloading the new preset content/library? If so I dont see a choice to initiate anything.
I ended up with two icons on desktop, one is the replacement for the previous version, named Genome and the other is "Genome v1.6 Factory RIG Library". clicking either seems to open the same thing...

Try dragging the RIG Library file into the standalone version.

Re: input levels. I only adjusted things by ear so far and will keep doing so. The only thing where I care about it is Helix Native, simply because I also own the hardware (which, in return, made it extremely easy to adjust my interface's inputs and DAW's gain plugins).

Thanks, I tried it and it opens Genome but I don’t notice anything different. No indication anything was opened or loaded etc.
The icon for the Rig Library is still on the desktop and highlighting it shows a description that includes “Availability Status: Sync Pending”

I don’t see any means of initiating a ‘sync’.
I’m on Windows and have been using the beta versions since before the release but had since updated after a release candidate was made public. Maybe I already had the rig library update? I don’t know what feature/s to look for to determine that though.

These:

New Component Additions

  • The PVH50 TSM-Ai Amplifier Component has been added to GENOME’s stock Component arsenal
  • The Calibro73 TSM-Ai Amplifier Component has been added to GENOME’s stock Component arsenal
  • The Anniversary Edition DynIR Cabinet Collection has been added to GENOME’s stock Component arsenal; the following DynIR Cabinets are included:
    • AE BritOS 212 Red
    • AE CaliB 212 P12N
    • AE CaliDeluxe 112 Legend
    • AE ElDorado 212 X12
    • AE LumberLeaver50 412 Shef
    • AE NashvilleMaestro 112 Origin
    • AE PeggyRocket 112 P12
    • AE Petaluma 412 Vint
    • AE PrinceTown 110 P10
    • AE Voice 212 Blue

Ahh, ok, those components I have. I was thinking there was some ‘prefabricated rig presets’ that needed to be installed separately, because of this:
  • A New Factory RIG Bank featuring GENOME’s updated Stock Component Arsenal is available
    • Please note: for existing GENOME License Holders, GENOME’s RIG library will not automatically update; for users with active GENOME Licenses prior to the release of GENOME v1.6, please download the updated Factory RIG Bank here. For new GENOME License holders post the v1.6 release, GENOME’s RIG arsenal will automatically default to the New Factory RIG Bank.

This is as far as I can get trying to import from the downloaded rig library into bank D. Nothing happens.

You gotta use the menu from inside Genome and then navigate to where you downloaded the .tnb file to and select it.

That is what I am doing. By selecting import from where you are showing in Bank D I get the window I showed you. What do you see when you hit the import button? what choices/ location does it offer you?

EDIT to add:
I got it. apparently microsoft One drive was holding my files due to not syncing. New laptop, never asked for, or used, One Drive. It said I had used .05 percent of 5 Gig of my 'free' space yet it was 'full'

Shut off one drive, redownloaded the file and it let me use my own computer. 'Thanks for the generous offer Mr Gates...now piss off please you and microsoft!!!'

Anyway, Thank You Sascha for helping!
