Now, this is kinda cool. A portable, battery-powered USB-C 96kHz 24-bit audio interface with combo XLR/instrument input and +48v phantom power, built-in stereo microphone and on-board DSP for effects (reverb, compression, noise cancellation, EQ).

Sells for US$129.99 in the US, 95€ in Europe.

The two standout features to me are the rechargeable battery and the stereo mics. That's a lot of convenience.
Unless you have an already set up mic and audio interface, it can be a bit of a chore to run all the cabling and set things up.

With this you could just slap it somewhere convenient and get e.g demo grade tracks going very quickly without plugging in anything but your phone.

My only concern here is that this is Blackstar, a company not known for long term support. Can you get e.g a replacement battery?

Demo with Polar Go vs phone mics with multiple instruments.

It's easy to hear how the phone audio lacks depth and has almost no low end especially with bass.

Would be interested to hear this compared to some nicer mics.
