Trying to decide between a Wampler Tumnus and Way Huge Conspiracy Theory. Whachall think?
I’ll be playing through a Mark V 99 percent of the time.

The tumnus has a little more bottom end whereas the conspiracy theory is a straight up klone. Tbh you'll probably be happy with either of them. There's not a ton of difference tone wise between them IMO.

My one problem with the archer is after the big deal they made in their marketing about using germanium diodes they've now switched to schottky diodes and didn't state anywhere they changed the specs.

Slightly modded klon based on the original version of the BYOC silver pony. I've built a few and they sound great.

Never played a Conspiracy Theory, but the Tumnus Deluxe may be the greatest OD of all time, so there is that.

Conspiracy theory is true bypass where Tumnus is not. I haven't played a Tumnus, but the one reason I always wind up ditching the RYRA is I don't like the buffered-bypass tone...too bright.
