That's what they called loop switcher back in the days. Get that daisy chain 9V cable out already!

Check this out. The original Tone Benders made by Gary Hurst were in a wooden box and they had one jack on the top and one on the back.

Hardly any of these were made and I think there's only one or two working examples still left.

Toggle switch to turn the battery on, volume and bias pots and a footswitch for the effect.

Looks like something you'd prop a door open in Silent Hill to make sure you could run back to the save point when Toblerone Head comes stumbling towards you for a fuck.

They moved to a bent steel case very quickly. It still looked like a door wedge though.
