I am going to grab a Floyd equipped guitar again before I die. Unless I die
today or tomorrow, then probably not.

I played Floyd, Kahler, Edge equipped guitars for a long time growing up. At
one point it was all I had. Then the 1990s and 2000s happened.

Still be fun to have one in the arsenal. Unlike Eddie, I need a Tone control. Especially
on a Floyd equipped axe, that is also a Bolt-on. Roll them highs off a smidge bitches!

Heh, I have one less Floyd now (LTD Arrow 1000 sold last week). Still waiting for the Jackson to sell. Both of the Floyd's were stable as shit, but especially the Arrow. It NEVER went out of tune, I think it had such a thick paint job that no moisture could ever get in it? Impervious to any and all weather changes.

Out of the couple of hundred EVH guitars I have set up not one has had fret sprout. Over bevelled edge is by far more of an issue and that is quite rare. Fret sprout is not really a QC issue because it happens after the guitar is boxed up and if you get one it’s a very easy fix on a raw neck . Also once done it’s not going to happen again.
