My 2 cents from growing, it’s all about harvest time. Plants harvested earlier have a clearer more cerebral high and plants harvested later have a heavier sleepier high, regardless of indica/sativa lineage. Most big production grows harvest later to maximize yield so it basically all affects me the same way. So I pretty much ignore indica/sativa (most strains are hybrid at this point anyway) and look for the highest THC content and anything with a name that indicates it’s going to smell like gas/diesel, because that always hits the hardest to me. If I don’t want to get wrecked I smoke less.

I notice less of a difference with flower, but concentrates and rosin definitely hit different depending on indica/sativa. For transportation purposes I’m mostly smoking vapes during the week.

Agreed. I used to smoke a lot of rosin and it’s almost a different high than flower. But I got a pax mini vaporizer recently and it’s pretty nice being able to just buy a regular bag of weed and grind it up again. And really portable too. I don’t do vape cartridges.

All it takes is once with edibles to ruin them forever. I took too much once and thought I was a Balrog, and not in a good way. Once you're a Balrog you realize real quick how badly you do not want to be a Balrog
