A little Mango Haze followed by some infused Purple Punch for my nightcap.
I notice less of a difference with flower, but concentrates and rosin definitely hit different depending on indica/sativa. For transportation purposes I’m mostly smoking vapes during the week.My 2 cents from growing, it’s all about harvest time. Plants harvested earlier have a clearer more cerebral high and plants harvested later have a heavier sleepier high, regardless of indica/sativa lineage. Most big production grows harvest later to maximize yield so it basically all affects me the same way. So I pretty much ignore indica/sativa (most strains are hybrid at this point anyway) and look for the highest THC content and anything with a name that indicates it’s going to smell like gas/diesel, because that always hits the hardest to me. If I don’t want to get wrecked I smoke less.
Agreed. I used to smoke a lot of rosin and it’s almost a different high than flower. But I got a pax mini vaporizer recently and it’s pretty nice being able to just buy a regular bag of weed and grind it up again. And really portable too. To this day I still never think about the name of the strain. All I need to know is if it’s indica or sativa dominant so I can plan my activities.
There’s something about a THC overdose that flips a panic switch in some people’s brains. I tripped on ~500 mics of LSD and I couldn’t really talk for function for 12 hours but I held it together. But I overdid it on edibles like you and legitimately thought I was dying for 3 hours. It’s not fun when it happens.

Dry Herb Vapes are the way. Them concentrates and the high-temp inhalation will fuck your shit up long-term.
The difference is massive. Yeah, maybe it doesn't get you as "lit" as a concentrate.... but you are also NOT
inhaling 700F-900F vapor directly into your lungs. WTF??
I like doing the slow-burn starting at 310F and then gradually roasting up to 400F or so. You get more flavor
and the terps jump out. It also satisfies the geeky/nerdy/science side of me.

So how much is too much in terms of regular use?
If enjoying the blessed herb every day, does anybody ever feel that their work or thinking is affected when sober? Any brain fog or other notable issues ?
There's a lot of stuff on the internet that suggests that regular use is a bad thing; there's also a lot of crap on the internet. You guys with real world experience likely know better. Seems like a lot of you are very regular appreciators![]()
I like the Silver Surfer vape for this reason. The temperature changes depending on how hard you hit it, so you can use a harder draw at first for flavor and then finish it up with a slower draw to extract the goodies. The oil carts are fun and convenient but only for occasional use for me. Didn't know the temps were that high with those things...gonna have to avoid them in the future.

Brain fog and ‘pot hangovers’ are my marker for ‘too much’. A pot hangover is when I wake up with brain fog right away, rather than waking up feeling refreshed and eager to start the day.
