I don't believe I ever posted this, but here is a pot parody I made using Isley Brother's "Twist And Shout"!

And let us all get high

Sorry, Isley Brothers, not Chuck Berry! I corrected post above ;~)) And yes, the Beatles version was uber popular, but it was based on the Isley Brothers version. Written by Phil Medley and Bert Berns (later credited as "Bert Russell"). It was originally recorded by The Top Notes.

I figured whatever you were smoking when you said Chuck must be some good shit, so more power to ya! :rofl

I've been finding that small doses of RSO or even just a 10mg sativa gummie is more effective at countering ADHD than pharm meds have been for me. I've been trying to find that perfect dose that doesn't actually make me feel high but still provides enough of the other effects and I've gotten close enough to know it exists.

The tricky part is eating, which has a massive effect on the potency of oral doses, for me at least. I realized this a couple weeks ago when I ate a fair amount of RSO and didn't feel much of anything a while later and ate some more. Several hours later I realized I hadn't eaten anything the entire day and made some food and then WHAM! It all hit me at once, probably 4-5 hours after the first dose.

So I'm keeping track of taking a dose and when I'm eating to see if I can nail it down. I actually got the RSO tincture to make it a bit easier to measure the doses. While the wow-factor has worn off for the concentrates like shadder or live resin, it's totally tripping me out that I have a bottle of concrentrated liquid THC and I can get various flavors and potency of it. And it's not some bunk ass shit from China you can buy at the smoke shop or the gas station. :rofl

When you eat a meal, the latent THC gets metabolized through your liver. You basically have to lock down your THC dose, the meal you eat after, and the timing. Sounds like your already on the path so you’ll likely get there eventually.

It does take some tinkering. Hydration levels can be a factor too.

I've found its better for me to take edibles after I eat, not before.

I learned this one night when I had 20-50mg (can't remember the exact amount) and then had a big steak dinner.

Sat around all night and nothing so I went to bed. I woke up a few hours later to piss and almost couldn't walk to the bathroom. Haha

I have fractured my 5th metatarsal 🦶:wat. The 37.5/325 Tramadol/Paracetamol that the doctor gave me is useless to relieve the pain, specially at night.

Since it is legal here in Thailand, I've just ordered this Cbd 1,000 mg cream. There are several dispensaries around here, but I cannot walk. What do you think? Could a cream with that concentration help with the pain, or should I get something stronger?

CBD *can* definitely work and do what's advertised, the hard part is finding legit CBD that's not just some bunk crap in a bottle. CBD gave an older dog of mine an entire 2nd lease on life, from literally needing assistance to stand up to running laps in my backyard. The search for good CBD is common so you should be able to get a good read on a product from the reviews.

With regards to the problem you’re working through with occasionally getting too high after eating - you can use CBD to reduce your high. It will counteract the psychoactivity. I’ve had to do that a couple times when I screwed up a dose.

Ooops. I've just found that Tramadol and CBD could potentially interact, even if CBD is a cream. I will have to be careful. Maybe take just Paracetamol without Tramadol, and see how the CBD cream works by itself.

Fortunately I just need to wait 5-10 minutes and it’ll pass, if it lasted longer than that I wouldn’t even bother at all. Another benefit of this medical marijuana world is learning how the different terpenes can change the way a high hits you, or as I read it the other day “THC % is like the engine and how powerful it is while the terpene % is the steering wheel”, so I’m looking forward to fine tuning that aspect.

What brand CBD are you giving your dog?

Yes this works well. I buy CBD honey to take with the hash oil I use as an edible which is all THC. They did a study a good while ago where they gave 1 set of people just high THC dose, 1 set a high CBD dose, and one control group a placebo. The CBD group said it was nice and the control said similar to they felt nothing but the THC group majority said they didn’t want to ever experience anything like that again. THC on its own in higher doses is not a fun ride at all.

I smoke constantly but when I can’t smoke (like a family vacation my in laws are at) I’ll take THC capsules. It takes at least 40mg dosage to get me started, 60 is preferable and I’ve done 80-100mg before. Idk, my system is tolerant as fuck and I hate that about it lol

I’m at the point where I’m buying weed based on the THC percentage. 30% and over is what I aim for lol

What brand CBD are you giving your dog?

It was my last dog we were giving the liquid CBD to, I can’t remember the brand specifically but it was a brown label with black lettering, Just Essentials or something similar. We’d just drop it in his water each morning. He had chronic arthritis and was 14 years old when we got him, they gave him 2 months to live so my ex and I took him home to give him the best two months we could and right around that two month mark, instead of dying he started running laps in the backyard and he stuck around for 2.5 years. While we had him on a rather expensive diet and got him back to a healthy weight fairly quickly, I definitely think that CBD played a huge role in those last 2.5 years.

I have some CBD treats for my current dog for holidays because South Florida celebrates everything with fireworks, they’re made by Zesty Paws and are pretty effective at calming him down.
