This seems like a product nobody asked for. IMO that grille thing looks pretty awful and the only reason you would buy it because it's still a Mesa cab, and maybe cheaper than the more popular models.

despite the hideous grille- theyre the best cabs mesa ever made imo. theyre honestly my favorite configuration of cabinet that exists just because they do everything well- full bottom, great dispersion and they just feel awesome. i prefer them with evms in the bottom and probably the top too .. but thats where the 212 version is better. id still rock that... the 412...gaaaaar..

I’d definitely take one of the rectifier road ready 4x12 cabs over these metal grille models, and really only because I’m a sucker for a matching set with my revision G.

I don’t fully understand Mesa’s fixation with metal, billion pound cabs.

i prefer them with evms in the bottom and probably the top too
Why did reading this give me a backache?

Holy shit, not by a long shot. People always ask when they're going to bring these back. I think they're ugly as hell, and too fucking big. But what do I know.

I LOVE the metal grille look. Open and closed back in the same cabinet is dumb af though.

this you haveta try. its absolutely way better than itd appear to be. not even kidding that thatd be my chosen cabinet for anything if reality didnt exist seriously delivers on full top end dimensionality and chug. sounds impossible but checks out.

I think they're a "you had to be there" type of thing. I had a chance when I was a teenager to pick up 2 of these 4x12 metal grille cabs used for $600 in a shop. I was young and didn't have the money. Had i had the money at the time, I'd probably still be playing those to this day. Yeah it's an ugly, dated look, but I'm an ugly, dated guy so it all works out :rofl
