Dang guys, I been away for awhile. My mother in-law had a medical emergency a couple weeks ago and long story short she has taken over our master bedroom where all my shit is located. It has been a grueling 2 1/2 weeks trying fit someone into an already tight living situation... but supposedly she could be going home some time this coming week... so hopefully I can jump back in start having some fun again. Stay tuned!

Best wishes and good luck, brother!

As much as I try to close myself off from family, sometimes it’s gotta take precedent!

I worked on this a while back as a scratch track before doing a full recording. Just wanted to see how it turned out. Ironically, I haven't re-recorded the full version. Anyway, it is short. Metallica's Enter Sandman.
Backing Track with my recorded guitars.
Equipment:
Axe-FX III
RME Fireface 802
DAW: Studio One

Ok, so I finally got around to doing a track with TGF in mind.:rawk Worked on this the last few nights, and it tips the hat to Satch, especially in the solo section, hence the title of the track. I like where it went, and I can see expanding on some themes but this version is what it is for now. Same goes for the mix.

For those interested:
•DAW - Studio One
•Superior Drummer
•Partscaster Guitar and Fender Mustang Bass
•Vox Mystic Edge pushing a Vox Cutting Edge pedal (using the built in cab sim out into an Motu M4 interface)
•Digitech Richochet pedal for the first, main melody.
•Solo and Outro leads - Carvin Legacy I amp into Suhr RLRI, lead channel, Voodoo Lab Wahzoo pedal
•Bass running into Vox Cutting Edge

Some overall eq adjustments, and post effects added but nothing too drastic.
