I absolutely LOVE my Badlander 50 head. I have a room full of Marshalls and haven't touched any of them since I bought the Badlander.I added a comment on the video too. It’s wild that the Badlander had over saturation like that. It’s an awesome amp that I think most people missed the point on. They could have gone without calling it a “rectifier” IMO, and maybe it shouldn’t have had “EL34” on the faceplate as it sounds just as good with 6L6s, but I think it’s an awesome amp and when I was recording the past few years, it was my problem-solver amp. If I needed a quick part in a song, I could quickly set up the Badlander and get whatever sound I needed quickly with minimal fuss. If you’re a clubbing musician or recording artist, it’s an excellent tool to get work done quickly.
BTW....I have owned a Mark V, Royal Atlantic 100 watt head, and an Electra Dyne. The Badlander is far and away my favorite of all these.
