Doing Nothing: Always Easier™Might be worth getting the SYN-1 and waiting it out until the Wampler Pedalhead comes out then.

Powerball is tight - a great versatile moduleQuick question
We can't demo the modules here.
I have a Vai module that I love.
However Im looking for a module that has a brutal very tight rhythm tone.
My eyes fell on the Powerball or peavy.
I already own a carvin v3 and DSL20 and some other more cleaner amps.
What would be something completely different from the Vai module ?
The Vai module is already very versatile. But in the rhythm part i think it can be tighter![]()
SYN-1 + Wampler Pedalhead "in-a-box" would be a huge value proposition. An updated SYN-1 and SYN-2 with power amp modeling and IR would be amazing.
Something like a chunky Gamecube size amp would be coolSYN-1 + Wampler Pedalhead "in-a-box" would be a huge value proposition.

Sure as hell would - and we all love Gamecubes/Gameboys around these partsSomething like a chunky Gamecube size amp would be cool![]()

For those that want to know, the beans have been spilled by Thomann...
It’s not super exciting I was really hoping they would have added the options from the Modded 800
Tight / mid voice / Gain boost
We might be proved wrong I mean the JMP had a noticeable bump in gain compared to the original perhaps the gain on hi mode will go more into the modded 800 territoryI am sure this will be really cool, but still looking for a JVM or modded 800 type module. I need my gain.![]()
Yeah & there's also that on-board cathode bias selection switch on the preamp modules which can push them just a bit further still. We might be proved wrong I mean the JMP had a noticeable bump in gain compared to the original perhaps the gain on hi mode will go more into the modded 800 territory
