Synergy Owners Thread

I'm staring at a handful of modules in my room and thinking how much I'd like alternate hardware to be able to use them. An updated SYN-1 and SYN-2 with power amp modeling and IR would be amazing. At the moment, the SYN20-IR is hanging on by a thread until my next hardware option.

Quick question
We can't demo the modules here.

I have a Vai module that I love.
However Im looking for a module that has a brutal very tight rhythm tone.

My eyes fell on the Powerball or peavy.

I already own a carvin v3 and DSL20 and some other more cleaner amps.

What would be something completely different from the Vai module ?

The Vai module is already very versatile. But in the rhythm part i think it can be tighter ;)
Powerball is tight - a great versatile module

For those that want to know, the beans have been spilled by Thomann...

So this is the same tech BAD does for Tone King in their Royalist and Imperial pedals. Phase inverter and 0 watt power section.

Which makes me wonder why though. The Synergy Power amps all have some kind of power amp presence and resonance controls but I guess this is to have a PI and NFB section more faithful to the JCM800 and not just generic module amp power amp controls.

I am sure this will be really cool, but still looking for a JVM or modded 800 type module. I need my gain. :D
We might be proved wrong I mean the JMP had a noticeable bump in gain compared to the original perhaps the gain on hi mode will go more into the modded 800 territory

Yeah & there's also that on-board cathode bias selection switch on the preamp modules which can push them just a bit further still.
I think this will sell well given it's 2 channels.
