Make sure it’s analog dry thru digital. Witch enough dynamic range to handle the wide dynamics of shred guitar.
I think Strymons have analog dry through? I loved my Flint and the ElCap (Dig was great too). If I was going back to an amp and standalone pedals those would be in there.Need to research delay reverb processors with analog and midi.
4.2ms. That is what it feels like. Feels like playing an amp sim on my computer. Its not crazy high latency, but just enough to feel.

I run single channel with dirt pedal on top if necessary. I'd either switch via midi or 1/4 switch if needed. I bring the Stealth footswitch but it stays on top of the amp and is really just there to initially enable the FX loop. This sounds best but what about switching?
Let's not go crazy nowIt does 4cm better than any non-Boss processor. Even in 2024.
So how did the GT1000 turn out long term in 4cm?
I think the limitation is that there wouldn't be any boosts that I like more than my pedals, so even if it works well I would still be using a pedal.
The only thing I lament going back to an analog front is losing the built in noise suppressor.
I have heard this before.I'm waiting for the next generation of each product. […]
