Strymon teasing new pedal

I wasn’t that interested in the 3205 mode until Leon went into 80’s filth. :satan That mode is def one to use as a chorus. So nice.

The golden ratio multi mode :chef

I didn’t expect to be interested in an analog delay pedal, but here I am… lol

If you had to choose, Brig, Dig, or Cap?
Is this just a "do you like analog, digital, or tape?" question, or is there more to it than that?
It’s kind of that, between the three styles. That said, the Brig is surprisingly versatile; you can really clean it up so that it almost doesn’t seem analog, or really stank it up.

Anybody around here give the Line6 DL4 MKII
a faithful go??
I heard that one’s pretty killer, I used to really
‘dig’ the old school greenie.

These days my dude’s,
-it’s the Strymon DIG,FTW.
Make DAMN sure you get the V2.
The V2 has a adjuster control in the top center of the DIG pedal.
The V2 also has MIDI/Stereo Outputs and a USB
port to charge your White Widow battery💯.

Watch out for SCOOBS trying to sell the V1
for the same price used as a the V2 used.
It’s sorta’ tricky because the pedals appear identical.
No tone control….-walk home boy.
The tone control does make a huge difference with adjusting the top-end spectrums of the rack delays the DIG is modelling.
This is critical if you’re a leave your delay on all the time type of player.
Plus, all the other killer & highly useable
features & functions.
I’m gonna check out that Boss EVH stereo delay monster & go SUPER stereo on all you punk asses.
Wet-High-Wet set-up…LMFAO.
I attached a pic of the V2.
Fire in the f’n hole!!!!

What we all need know @2112 Strymon Brig vs Boss DM/SDE, which one do you dig the most now that you’ve had your hands on all of them.

SDE is crazy powerful but my guess is 95% of people will use it just for the EVH presets, which is fair enough. If you need plug and play big greasy lead delays this is where it's at.

DM-101 sounds GREAT and I think BOSS did a great job balancing the limited control layout with the extra features. The modulation in particular is lovely and being able to do crusty DM-2 stuff as well as ping-pong, pattern and doubling delay makes it a really good "do it all but stay analog" unit. Mono in is a downside if you want to run delays after stereo chorus.

Brig sounds great and the stereo in is nice. Like most things Strymon the attention to detail to modeling all the funky vintage stuff gets you in the door but the design makes it really easy to be creative and to expand on the vintage stuff that inspired it.

SDE - arcade beat'em up. DM-101 - 90's platformer on a modded console. Brig - HD remaster of 90's platformer on current hardware. Timeline/DD500 etc - open world RPG.

What’s the Volante, somewhere between remastered platformer and open world RPG, what is that?
