@Whizzinby They are due a Brigadier repackage sometime this year and I read elsewhere that Strymon had registered Brig as a trademark i.e. a potentially a Cloudburst sized version with tweaks. I have been waiting for this! Colour hue looks to be in the Brig ballpark.
Although it is too late for me now that I gave up waiting and bought the Memory Lane
Is it too late though?
Terrible photoshop skills in that image around the Strymon "S". Pedal probably had the box next to it!
Brigadier repackage in their small enclosure would be cool! I've always dug the Brigadier but never pulled the trigger cus at the end of the day it's just a (nice) basic delay pedal. But make it small, and I might put it on a board.@Whizzinby They are due a Brigadier repackage sometime this year and I read elsewhere that Strymon had registered Brig as a trademark i.e. potentially a Cloudburst sized version with tweaks. - Track 45 left. Stop.
- Enhance 15 to 23.
- Give me a hard copy right there.
Greenish perhaps. Colour hue looks like it could be in the Brig ballpark.

Check out what's peeking from behind the Ola in the background.
So expect a Brig pedal!
Now, all I need to avoid buying this is to just not watchWalter White'sPete Celi's "deep dive" video when the pedal launches.
So, Brig or DM-101? Kinda different purposes, yes. But both analog-(flavored, yes I know the Strymon is digital), both MIDI. Brig will be cheaper, if the Cloudburst is any guide.@Whizzinby They are due a Brigadier repackage sometime this year and I read elsewhere that Strymon had registered Brig as a trademark i.e. potentially a Cloudburst sized version with tweaks. I’ll probably end up with bothIt all comes down to personal taste, desired pedal footprint and features really. There's no one true answer here.
But based on the original Brigadier and recent upgrades to the pedal line e.g. ARM and JFET inputs + what we've seen from the Cloudburst, pretty sure I would have been all over this new Brig, if I hadn't just bought something that's tonally in a similar ballpark (Memory Lane isn't stereo and doesn't have MIDI though). Pretty sure this new pedal is going to be right up my street.
I’ll probably end up with both
But yeah it’ll be interesting to see what it is. I love the three v2 Strymons I’ve got.
I have no use for more delay pedals (he says after trying like ten of the fuckers).
