sOoN... again?

And not be able to load a plugin preset with other blocks in the preset is also stupid. The other day i needed to copy a block from a preset to be able to have the preset sound in my new preset.
Let me load a plugin preset on say.. row 3??

So,(out of curiosity) what kind of sounds would a John Mayer signature plugin offer that isn't in existing Archetypes?

I've listened to the odd album here and there but dont really know any specifics about how he goes for his tones.
In terms of amps, probably the JMOD, maybe some more Dumble stuff like a Steel String Singer, maybe a Fender Dual Professional.

For pedals/effects, a TS-10 and a Klon, maybe a Bluesbreaker. Perhaps a couple other boosts. They could model a Bricasti reverb.

So there could be some new stuff. In fairness you can already kinda cop the vibe with some other plugins.

But my guess is the effect would mostly be felt through people buying plugins who don’t have any other ones. Hell, interface sales will probably go spike for a bit too.

I've just kinda accepted that he's not for me, and I'll never care about his tones or signature gear.

And there are a lot of low-gain blues/jazz types I love (e.g. Julian Lage, Gilad Hekselman, Alex Skolnick's jazz trio records, etc.). I just don't hear anything particularly special in my exposure to John Mayer other than he's an objectively skilled and proficient guitar player.
