Ok maybe not quite - here's the copy:

For the NC, I use literally 2 cables.

This below is Tonex, and I believe PC connection is required, right?

If you want to break this down to NC's connections:
  • Input 1 L = NC guitar input. Can be left out if you don't want to use your guitar.
  • Output 3/4 L/R = NC headphones output for monitoring. Can be left out.
  • Main Output L = NC capture out
  • Input 2R = NC capture in
It's the same amount of cables, and if NC supports V2 captures, you will need a computer for that too.

Ah ok.
Still waiting for some company to come up with their take of something Roland-esque. Monophonic isn't exactly too interesting for me.
I wish one of these guitar MFX manufacturers would partner with Jam Origin and get it over with.

The mono synth is very playable but it’s as glitchy as any hex or mono-to-poly detection, albeit in a different way. Pick your poison, I guess.

You can do it somewhat in the Axe FX / FM9, and to some extent I even was able to replicate this in the VP4. But if you run the Fractal Sawtooth synth into a quad diatonic pitch block, you can get a really full sounding synth pad that's just gorgeous. There's a stock preset I can't remember the name of, and I've been using this so long I can't tell you what is my edit and what was Fractal's original preset, but here's the path I'm using. Mainly it's the synth and quad pitch, into an oscillating HP filter that really does it, with the chorus and Plex Delay making it pretty.
