Sonicake NAM Captures?

Works just fine. I was able to switch between all 5 profiles with no problem. Sounds good too. I haven't done a comparison between the PM and the NAM player software because right now I'm having too much fun with the PM. BTW, I also have a Noise Gate block, Delay block and Reverb block active and there's no glitching.

Would you say it's some kind of capture base algorithm as Mike Oliphant suggests or does it feel like just the captures being run?

No idea how it might sound with NAM captures loaded, but each and every demo video I watched sounded just like the price, namely cheap.
Possibly a nice practice unit, though.

To me it sounds like the NAM captures, not something that is emulated from the captures. I probably should A/B it with NAM Player, but right now I don't hear anything odd.

Anyone else notice that the nam captures have to be full rigs? The IR block gets line through it and anything I do in that block has no effect. I wish they gave more than 5 slots for nam captures or IRs

i wonder if that's how they're able to allocate enough CPU to run NAM profiles?

For 65 bucks if it loads 3 of them I'm good...You could put an IR on in the NAM plugin thing right? Or would that not work?
Nope, IR block is completely disabled when using the NAM captures instead of the modelling. At least, to my testing this evening. That said, the NAM profiles I loaded sound great and make this little toy even more fun.

I figure you could do a NAM capture of this

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would even consider buying this outside of practising purposes or as a super-emergency backup. And because of that, I could as well not understand why NAM support would be relevant, especially given that you lose quite some other functions.
I mean, would anyone run a super cheap plastic device as the core of their pedalboard or so? A device that is super painful to be edited on-device?

I sense a Leo Gibson "Null Test Comparison" coming
Ok ..... I swear I did NOT know this before posting my note but Leo has already posted a YT Short saying he is going to Null Test it and also Latency Test it and post his video .... coming soon I suspect !!!!

Because you want nice tones for practicing?
Not just because you want it, I remember in the old days when digital was still crap I used to get ear fatigue when playing for any longer amount of time, over headphones.
