Sonicake NAM Captures?

I just picked up the Pocket Master. really amazing device for the price. you can pair it with the smartphone and send audio to the PM and use headphones on the PM to hear the aux BT audio. not sure if they are planning future updates, but it would be nice if you could pair bluetooth headphones with the PM.

I loaded up this NAMM profile and it sounds pretty good on the PM:

II don't think there is currently any way to enable the IR block on the PM when using a NAMM profile. Right now when you enable the IR blck displays a red line through it when using a NAMM profile. so I guess we can't use head-only profiles on the PM and pair it with different IRs.

FYI, Sonicake is now selling the Pocker Master at 20% off, with shipping, in AliExpress. About US$50.

Comes in a number of funky new colors, too.

Welp, ended up ordering one. AliExpress just had another price drop, with the transparent black version selling for ~48 Euro with shipping.

I don't know if i'll get much use out of this, but at that price it's worth just to keep it in my gigbag as a practice tool.

Fwiw, is it known whether the thing could be powered through the USB port of a smartphone/tablet? I know it's got its own battery, but always having to charge two units is something of an annoyance. This is what caught my interest on the ToneX One.
Also, when you get it, please get back, re: Headphone out. Some small devices often don't deliver much level over those outs.

My first test will be with a pair of Drop HD-6xx. I am guessing that is asking a lot of a $50 pocket device.

That's a 300Ω pair of headphones so, yeah, i doubt you'll get any reasonable volume :(

Per the manual, Pocket Master's are rated for 100Ω max.

Yeah, I am not expecting it to do to well, but sometimes there are pleasant surprises. The Tonex One for example can drive them much better than I had expected. If it doesn't have the balls necessary, I can use other headphones, or I have a JDS Atom Amp that can drive any headphones but that defeats the portability.

Good news, my Pocket Master arrived and it drives the headphones plenty loud for me.

The bad news is the stock presets are pretty bad! I will have to get some NAM captures on this thing and make my own presets before I can evaluate it, but my initial impression is that it might be OK as a cheap pocket practice solution, but not much more.
