Has anyone solved a neck dive issue? I have a really nice Pelham Blue SG so I don’t want to drill any holes to move the strap buttons. Is there any other way to fix SG neck dive?
This, relocate the strap buttons, or attach lead to the back of the body. SG’s are notorious for neck-dive.Wider strap.
holding up the neck of your guitar, for me would be a detriment to my frettingI pretty much either keep my hand holding the neck or pinching the body against me with my forearm to free up the other hand
How about a pic of your SG
Just because I like pics of SG’s lol
I don’t really want to add weight though. Most of what I like about this SG is that it’s very light.

Can’t argue with that.Use a strat?
haven’t decided on a neck pickup yet.
it is empty at the moment. The neck dive continues.Leave the neck side blank. That'll help a bit with the dive problem.
In example ohhh let's say a EBMM majesty ?Not trying to come off as brash, but that guitar is not some super-rare item. My opinion- either move the strap button to the horn, or get something else, assuming you can't find a creative way to fix the problem, w/o altering the guitar.
I mean, if it's enough of an issue, there are so many other guitars out there.
Bleh!I’ve also seen people install a trem, such as a Vibrola, to add some weight.
