So it's about the end of the year and my set up looks different as always lol. It seems every season my layout changes lol.

Who and what is in your space?

2022 year end pics. Some things are in flux while I wait for my Osmose to arrive and my Matriarch to return from repair. I'm still considering how to move items around to accommodate them. Next year, cable management is a top priority :)

Cool. What's that thingy under the SY-1000?

I don't have sy-1000 anymore. You mean sy-300? There's a boredbrain patchulator that is connected to my sy-300, source audio c4, mood, habit, blooper, microcosm and zoia and goes into helix. Kinda like a boss es-8 but you just do it with patch cables. Re-order your pedals. Made for pedals or synths.

Ah yes, SY-300 I mean. Interesting patch bay design with the patchulator

Total lie lol. This is what I just decided to keep past few months after flippin' for 30 years haha :p
You've landed on some choice pieces that are worthy of sticking around, despite some easy-to-rationalize "do I need this other delay? I should sell" which, in the end, just winds up costing more money in the eventual rebuy. Trying to do similarly.

I turned one of our spare bedrooms into my lil project studio.

The room has o/c 703 in multiple places and is quite dead, which I like.
The closet is full of my old pedals and different guitars/basses, but as you can see... I'm a utilitarian/minimalist at heart and like to keep my workflow fast and simple.

The Makie passive big knob on the desk lets me easily switch between the helix or arturia 8pre as my interface depending on what I'm tracking.

There is a DB25 panel behind the desk that connects to the room behind so I can track a kit or whatever as well as 2 separate TRS plugs for headphone mixes or whatever.

Also a couch on the opposite wall and I can have about 4-5 people comfortably in the room before it starts to get crowded.

This is my happy place.
