Show me your PRSi

Core is Made in America top of line before it starts getting into Private Stock territory. The CE is Made in America with bolt on necks. The S2 is Made in America but less pizazz - less of a carved top than the Core line, not as flashy. The SE line is made overseas - arguably one of the best budget line of any of the big guitar brands

Just to confuse things older CEs before they were discontinued were also core guitars. Older CEs were the same spec as customs but with bolt on maple necks. Newer CE models have a different top carve, no recessed cavity covers and cheaper hardware.

I just realized I never posted in this thread for some reason.

Kind of a far away pic, but from left to right:

1. 1990 Alder body CE, all stock except for a stainless steel refret.
2. 2005 Navarro sig model, JB/Jazz combo, graph tech saddles
3. 2004 Custom 24 w/rosewood neck, Matteo Blue, Artist Package, JB/Jazz combo, McCarty switching, graph tech saddles.

I also have a heavily modified Tremonti SE, in the see through black. Mann bridge, DiMarzio pickups, Tusq nut, new pots and switch, locking tuners and a tremol-no.

I’ve been thinking of further upgrades to my Cu24SE. Is it worth changing the wiring from stock? Already swapped PUs. But first I probably need to get some uneven frets fixed and generally set up for the string gauge I have on it now.

Only if you use the volume and tone a lot. If you predominantly play with everything on 10 then probably not.

I love the SE locking tuners I got - primarily for string changes and they look classy imo (I also changed the tuner buttons):

So, I did something I have wanted to do for many years but always decided to not do it because of how crazy expensive it is. A year ago my wife told me to just do it and we will work it out. So, I made a trip with my wife to the factory the first week of December. This showed up this past Saturday.
