Reverb's most sold product in 2024 was the NDSP Quad Cortex

I gave the QC a shot because of the plug-ins and how they feel to play through studio monitors. There may be some hyped frequencies or something going on, but I don't care since it sounds good to my ears. I'm still getting used to the QC and need to figure out my workflow. The built-in cabs are a positive so far - I think they sound better than the Fractal Dynacabs.

I dumped an Iridium, IR-X, ToneX One, and a few other items to give it a go. I tend to prefer all-in-once devices for digital/modeling rather than a pedalboard approach.

I was a Fractal Audio user for a long time ( Ultra and Axe Fx II ) and I got hundreds of updates all the time , and I don`t really miss all the updates at all, when I got my QC, sure the QC updates are few and far apart, but I get my update*drip* from the capture tech and from other users who share cool stuff on Cortex Cloud( all the amps in the world ) I was never a big Efx guy, so I don`t need all that stuff ( but I get that others need and want these things )

For all the other Quad Cortex users that need all this stuff, I really hope NDSP get the foot on the efx pedal
I`m looking forward to getting the plugins I own, b7K and Parallax and Rabea synth plugs in my QC as this will kill my bass needs and I love to have a guitar synth thing to get some nasty sounds to mix in with my normal guitar tracks

BTW: hahaha , I was working on a lullaby song for my girlfriend around christmas time, and for fun I used the Auto-Tune algo we got in an QC update for my vocal track and It works really nice
I think I will regret sharing this (it`s not done yet) .. but fuck it...
