If you're running around nekkid playing a relic'd strat I would suggest keeping the back cover installed over the trem springs for safety. Just a guess...

It’s how I live dangerously these days. Don’t need drugs if you can catch all your wobbly bits between the springs when doing a divebomb!

Of the probably 30-40 guitars I've had in my life, none of them have been relics. It would be fun to have one for sure, assuming it's well done.

I've been wanting to do a Warmoth build since the late 90's. If I do, I plan on a super basic guitar finish that would relic really quickly.
